Apollo Cinema, Altrincham named Best New Cinema - UK in the 2008 Cinema Industry Awards
Apollo Cinema, Altrincham came out on top at this year’s RAAM Awards for film distribution and cinema industry winning the award for the Best New Cinema – UK.  Recognised as the Oscars and BAFTAs for the UK cinema industry, Apollo Cinema, Altrincham beat off stiff competition from across the UK to walk away with the top award in their category.

The Apollo Cinema in Altrincham, on Denmark Street in the heart of the Town Centre, is flanked by two larger superstores, Tescos and Sainsburys, and adjacent to Total Fitness.

The six screen luxury cinema includes many of the features of Apollo's West End flagship, it is fully air conditioned throughout, has tiered armchair seating, digital sound and a licensed bar.

The scheme consists of Apollo's private 82 capacity car park with direct lift access to the Cinema, Frankie and Bennies Restaurant and Chiquito's restaurant.

In the evening customers are encouraged to use the secure cinema car park (under the building, turn right after Chiquito's) as opposed to the NCP car park which closes promptly at 10.30pm Monday to Thursday. The NCP is open until 11.30 Friday to Sunday.
