MEAL TIMES
Monday - Sunday 12noon - 2.30pm. 6pm - 9pm

Built in 1649, The Wheatsheaf Coach House still retains many original features. Go through the car park entrance to reveal the old stables and cobbled courtyard where the Chester to Manchester coaches used to rest. Follow round through a door to a secret garden with a covered smoking area.
Well planted with hanging baskets and shrubs, a television, lighting, dartboard and seating for 20 plus. Follow the path up to the Beer Garden to reveal a quiet lawn with benches and a childrens play area. Food is served to the garden where families can relax in a safe area for their children. Barbeques are held in the summer on the decking area.
Inside the restaurant has seating for 30 plus with blackboard menus offering local Cheshire produce. Meals are served from 12 noon till 2:30pm and 6pm till 9pm. The bar serves 4 extra cold lagers and 3 cask bitters, ciders and Guinness.
The bar area has 2 big screens and 3 TV’s where all the premiership matches are shown, especially Manchester United.
Live entertainment is a major part of the pubs weekly itinerary. Thursdays and Saturdays see Live bands playing 70’s t0 90’s rock music as well as the latest popular music from the Kaiser Chiefs to the Artic Monkeys. The Bands start at 9:15 and play till 11:30. Dancing to the bands makes for a great night out for FREE!

Sundays is Irish band night with the local Irish community having a great traditional night out with new friends joining in the waltzing to the famous old Irish ballads.

The Wheatsheaf also has a function room including a private bar with dance floor and separate toilets. Weddings, Christenings and Birthdays are all sure of a great time. Our in-house DJ, Ian Carter, can be booked to play whatever music you wish. A wide range of Hot or Cold Buffets are available from as little as £5.90 per head.

The web site http://www.thewheaty.info has all the band listings and lots of up-to-date information.
